From his beginnings in Hendersonville, North Carolina (population 15k), to opening for The Kid LAROI on The First Time tour, glaive has become a name synonymous with a scene that redefines pop, not by distancing itself from tradition but by forging a new, innovative style. His previous works, including May It Never Falter, Y’all, and God Save The Three, have all cemented him as a standout artist, lauded by the likes of The New York Times, Vulture, GQ and The FADER. Glaive’s latest release, a collaboration with longtime friend Kurtains, was called “a genre-defying work” by i-D Magazine and saw positive reviews from Clash and Line of Best Fit, and was supported by an extensive US and EU tour. Glaive’s forthcoming album is due out soon.
